Accessibility Statement
Effective August 24, 2026
Our commitment
Saint Raphael Health is committed to making its websites usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive technology.
Standard we work to
We target Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA. This is the standard referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act in practice and by Section 504 and Section 1557 requirements that apply to healthcare organisations.
What we have done
- Text and interface colours are measured against the WCAG AA contrast thresholds across every page
- The site can be operated by keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator and a skip link to the main content
- Headings, landmarks and lists are structured for screen readers, and images carry meaningful alternative text
- Motion and animation are disabled for visitors whose systems request reduced motion
- Layouts reflow without horizontal scrolling on small screens
Known limitations
We review this website regularly against the standard above. Where a limitation is identified, we work to resolve it, and we welcome reports of any barrier you encounter.
Third-party content
Some content or functionality provided by third parties may not fully meet the standard. We raise accessibility issues with those providers where we can.
Reporting a barrier
If you have difficulty accessing any part of this website, or need information in an alternative format, please tell us. We will work with you to provide the information you need.
